Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Blueprint Kitchen is committed to making this website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every customer to be able to browse our menu and place an order with ease.
Standards we aim to meet
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
Accessibility features on this site
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (menu items, buttons, forms) can be accessed using only a keyboard.
- Screen reader support — the site uses semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and logical heading structure to work with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
- Visible focus indicators — focusable elements have a visible outline to help keyboard users track their position on the page.
- Colour contrast — text and interactive elements meet the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (4.5:1 for normal text).
- Resizable text — text can be enlarged to 200% using browser zoom without loss of functionality.
- Alt text — meaningful images have descriptive alternative text for screen reader users.
- Skip to content — a skip link at the top of each page allows keyboard users to bypass the navigation menu.
